Jessica’s Top 3 Stress-Fighting Foods

Ever feel so stressed like you’ve got a one way ticket to crazy town…running around like a chicken with your head cut off? Welcome to my world just a few years ago. My friends and family used to start every sentence with “I know you’re so busy…” before they’d say anything to me.

Nowadays, honestly, my day isn’t any less stressful. Come to think of it my life is prob more nuts with a booming business and a 7 month old rescued puppy.

But I’ve gotten REALLY good at handling it all.

Now people say to me, “how do you do it all?”

When it comes to handling a never ending storm of stress, it doesn’t mean gritting your teeth and muscling through it. Or daydreaming your prince will appear and whisk you off to Jamaica so you can finally live your fairytale life.

What it means, is taking really good care of yourself.

Let’s face it, every day is a battle.  We should get a gold star for just being able to get out of bed in the morning.

But I’m sure you’re still waiting for yours to arrive, like I am mine.

So how do we prep ourselves to stay sane during the insane?

Let’s start with food. There are a number of foods that you gotta have in your back pocket when life gets crazy. They’ll help you stay grounded, focused and believe it or not, relaxed when the going gets tough so you can keep going.

And don’t trigger you to go for MORE food. In this week’s episode of J-ciniTV, I share with you 3 of my top stress fighting foods that are little soldiers I use as ammo for when my pup has me cleaning up poop at 4am and I have 50 things to do the next day.
